Hi, my name is Cassie! I discovered my calling to help others in childhood. This calling first led me to the field of social work where I started my career. Within a few years, I was burned out from my inability to change the oppressive structures I worked in. That was when I turned to spiritual healing for help. I was raised a Christian (Methodist tradition) but found that the religion and its application no longer aligned with my values. I began to search for new means of strengthening my relationship with the Divine and improving my mental health. I first purchased crystals to beautify my space, one of my many self-care habits. I soon discovered that the crystals contained healing energy which assisted with my spiritual practices and improved my emotional well-being. I started Cassie’s Chrysalis to help and encourage others who are exploring or strengthening their spiritual practice, whatever that may look like to them. The name comes from my connection with butterflies who undergo a metamorphosis to transform themselves into the beautiful creatures they are meant to be. I have experienced many metamorphoses which aligned me with my soul’s mission. I hope that as this dream expands, I can provide a ~chrysalis~ to help others the way that I was helped when I was first exploring my spirituality.
